Tenby - Little town of the fishes
Tenby is a very colorful town, and many of the photos reflect that. It is a nice place to spend some time, but we only managed to spend a few hours as it was on our way to Freshwater East. Even on a typical UK weather day, it pops up.
A cave in Tenby beach
This is a small cave you will find on your right hand side once you come down to the beach. The cave was small and nice, but it was dark. Believe it or not, this was a single shot exposure taken by the Nikon D800. I knew D800 dynamic range is good, but I was yet to be seriously impressed. To have good enough shutter speed and to have good DoF, I shot this at f/8.0, ISO 100, single point focusing on the grey building at the far. If you look at the next photo (which is straight out of camera), you can see the default look of the image. I pulled the exposure, shadow and black level to max in Lightroom and added a little contrast and some noise reduction. I was impressed to see the D800 sensor picking up all this colors. I did not have my tripod with me at the time, but for a single shot exposure, the camera worked wonders.
